Prevention of Workplace Harassment (PWash) Policy for Unique Shopi Employees

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace free from harassment, including sexual harassment, discrimination, and any form of inappropriate behavior.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees of Unique Shopi, including full-time, part-time, and temporary staff members, as well as contractors, vendors, and visitors.

3. Definition of Harassment

Workplace harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unwelcome verbal, physical, or visual conduct that creates a hostile work environment.
  • Discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Sexual harassment, including unwelcome advances, requests for sexual favors, inappropriate comments, or physical contact.
  • Bullying, intimidation, or threats in any form.
  • Retaliation against employees who report or oppose harassment.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Offensive jokes, slurs, or derogatory remarks.
  • Unwanted touching, staring, or suggestive gestures.
  • Sharing inappropriate images, videos, or messages.
  • Asking for sexual favors in exchange for job benefits.
  • Persistent and unwelcome romantic advances.
  • Spreading rumors or false information about employees.
  • Any conduct that makes an employee feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

5. Reporting Procedures

Employees who experience or witness harassment should report it immediately to:

8. Disciplinary Actions

Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary measures, including warnings, training, suspension, or termination. Severe cases may lead to legal action.

9. Training and Awareness

Unique Shopi will provide harassment prevention training for all employees, including refresher courses and specialized training for managers.

10. Support for Victims

Employees facing harassment can seek support from HR, management, or external counseling services.

11. Compliance and Acknowledgment

Management will enforce this policy, and employees must acknowledge their understanding of it.
